Noble needs managing better i.e. no free kicks or corners AND needs to play further up the field in a proper football playing pass & move type team. Nolan? Amazed he made the grade as a pro footballer but that's allardyce for you.

Not as a pair in central midfield and have not been for some time. Noble will look a lot better with better, more mobile and creative players around him and much more movement for passing options. Not trying to necessarily defend him as he struggled today but he was doing the Parker stylee turns and dwelling on the ball because there was no movement. He played much better when Downing was in a central role. It gave him a bit more time and Downing was always an option. Now he is back out wide, he is hardly in the game.
Poyet should be given some games, put Amalfitano or even the left pegged Jarvis wide right, anyone but Downing who has to be involved more as he has a good range of passing as we saw earlier in the season. Nolan will never score that 100th goal and should never start a game again. He is finished.

Ok bit of an overstatement borne out of another frustrating performance but seriously think he has allardyce and the skewed system he employs to thank for his top flight career. He's spent a generation getting on the end of knockdowns in and around the box, stepping on the keepers toes & arguing the toss with the ref.
